Health Council
The Tillamook County Community Health Council is established by the Tillamook County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to carry out certain governance activities in support of the Tillamook County Community Health Center’s (TCCHC) mission of protecting and fostering the health of all people in Tillamook County. The Council is comprised of between 9 and 15 members, of which a majority must be TCCHC patients. Health Council governance activities include approving the health center’s fees and grant applications and recommending an annual budget to the BOCC. The Council also serves as an advisory board and provides community input for programs delivered by the health department.
